This portable air conditioner window seal kit closes the opening around an exhaust hose. A zippered fabric panel and hook-and-loop tape help keep warm air from entering and cooled indoor air from escaping.
Features:
Window Gap Seal: The fabric fills space between an exhaust hose, window and frame to limit entry of warm outside air.
Cooling Efficiency: Closing the open window around the hose limits warm-air backflow and helps a portable air conditioner cool a room more efficiently in summer.
Energy Use: By limiting warm air entry, the seal can reduce air-conditioner workload and associated electricity use or cost.
Tool Free Installation: Attach the self-adhesive hook-and-loop tape to the inside of the window and frame, fasten the fabric, open the zipper, route the exhaust hose outside and close the zipper around it. No separate tools or hose adapter are described as necessary.
Window and Appliance Fit: The kit is described for many portable air conditioners or tumble dryers and for left-opening, right-opening, bottom-hung or skylight windows.
Durable Zipper Closure: The zipper fits closely around the hose while adhesive fastening holds the fabric on various window frames.
